Havn't shown, but if you use your memory, theres your source!!
and the phrases don't mean shit.
Again, use google and find the sources yourself, infact, just use some memory, if that fials like usual, go to the Crytek website, view the podcasts on Crysis. Or perhaps, as usual your to affraid to be proven wrong...so don't want to look
Given its like the second google link, its not hard to find
Benchtest 1 - SP Demo
Medium DX9 BFG8600GTS
18.9FPS
Benchtest 2 - SP Demo
Medium DX9 BFG 8600GTS
20FPS
As you can see, between those resolutions, there is only a 1.1 FPS difference using the 8600GTS as a base
In fact, even using brads screenshots, his own screenshots verify what those above are...
My actual benchtests prove that with a drop of 506! pxls or 1 resolution size lower, we see a 1.84 FPS increase (so 2fps more), so using some basic calculations, a 1000 drop of pxls in crysis should achieve maybe a 4 - 5 FPS increase for 2 resolution sizes smaller, we actually see a 7FPS increase....now compare 7FPS faster to a game like say, Sup Com or Sparta, where they are also very demanding games, with 2 resolution sizes lower in those games, we see nearly a 20FPS increase, which is what I've been saying the ENTIRE time, Resolution in Crysis bearly effects the games performance
Quote Me in that same post brad providedCrytek have stated that Resolution sizes don't effect the Framerate dramatically like they do in other games.
